Excel NOW to GETDATE / SYSDATETIME

A timestamp for “when this row landed” is SYSDATETIME() as a default.

GETDATE()
SYSDATETIME()  -- datetime2, more precision

Do not store GETDATE() in a date column and expect the time to still be there.

Canonical translation

GETDATE()
SYSDATETIME()  -- datetime2, more precision
