SUBSTITUTE to REPLACE

REPLACE replaces every match. Excel SUBSTITUTE can take an instance number. T-SQL does not.

REPLACE(postcode, ' ', '')

Nth occurrence only: you need more than REPLACE. Usually you wanted all of them.
