Pandas fillna to ISNULL / COALESCE
A constant fill is ISNULL. Filling from another column is COALESCE(a, b).
ISNULL(phone, '')
COALESCE(region, country)ffill is LAST_VALUE with IGNORE NULLS on 2022+, or a messy self-join on older boxes.
