SQL translator › SQLite → T-SQL
SQLite to SQL Server translator
SQLite is loose. SQL Server wants types, TOP, and CONCAT.
Usual swaps
| SQLite | SQL Server |
|---|---|
| LIMIT | TOP / OFFSET FETCH |
| IFNULL | ISNULL |
| || | CONCAT |
| date('now') | CAST(GETDATE() AS date) |
| date(d, '+7 day') | DATEADD(day, 7, d) |
| AUTOINCREMENT | IDENTITY |
| INTEGER PRIMARY KEY | int IDENTITY PRIMARY KEY |
SQLite affinity is not a type. Pick int, decimal, nvarchar when you land on SQL Server.
Then write it on a ticket
Monday is free. A colleague asks, you type, we mark it.
